Strategy. American Century Investment Management, Inc. (the Sub-Adviser) serves as the Funds sub-adviser. The Sub-Adviser is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Funds assets. In selecting stocks for the Fund, the Sub-Adviser looks for companies of all sizes whose stock price may not reflect the companys value. The Sub-Adviser attempts to purchase the stocks of these undervalued companies and hold each stock until the price has increased to, or is higher than, a level the managers believe more accurately reflects the fair value of the company. The Sub-Adviser uses a variety of analytical research tools and techniques to help it make decisions about buying or holding securities of companies that meet its investment criteria and selling the securities of companies … American Century Investment Management, Inc. The Sub-Adviser may sell stocks from the Funds portfolio if it believes a stock no longer meets the Sub-Advisers valuation criteria, a stocks risk parameters outweigh its return opportunity, more attractive alternatives are identified or specific events alter a stocks prospects.
