Strategy. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, if any, in equity securities of small capitalization companies or other investments with similar economic characteristics. For purposes of this 80% investment policy, small capitalization companies are those companies with market capitalizations similar to companies in the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) Europe, Australasia and Far East (EAFE) Small Cap Index (the Index). The size of the companies in the Index changes with market conditions and the composition of the Index. As of December 31, 2021, the market capitalization values of the constituents of the Index ranged from $133.93 million to $9.232 billion. The fund will invest substantially all its assets outside the United States. The fund may focus a significant portion of its investments in one or more countries from time to time.
