Objective. Fidelity SAI Japan Stock Index Fund seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the total return of Japanese stocks.

Strategy. Normally investing at least 80% of assets in securities included in the MSCI Japan Index and in depositary receipts representing securities included in the index. The MSCI Japan Index is a free float-adjusted market capitalization weighted index designed to measure the performance of the large and mid-cap segments of the Japanese market. Derivative instruments that provide investment exposure to the investments above or exposure to one or more market risk factors associated with such investments are included in the fund's 80% policy, consistent with the fund's investment policies and limitations with respect to investments in derivatives.
